West Bengal State Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) was conducting the entrance examination for under graduate courses like Engineering, Medical and Pharmacy for admission in West Bengal state University and their affiliated colleges for the academic year 2017. Students who are applied for the entrance examination can go through the official website of WBJEE for syllabus and model papers. The question paper will be designed differently by subject wise. Each subject the question paper will be designed with 3 categories. In first category one mark will be awarded for each question and other two categories 2 marks will be awarded for each question. Mathematics subjects totally 80 questions will be there. Biological Science 120 questions will be given. In Physics subject totally there will be 40 questions and in Chemistry subject totally 40 questions will be there.
Mathematics subject the paper will be designed with 100 marks. Biological Science the paper will be designed with 150 marks. Physics and Chemistry the paper will be designed with 100 marks each consist of 50 marks. There will negative marking for wrong answered questions. Each wrong answered question 1/4th mark will be deducted from correct answer question.
