Goa State Government, Directorate of Technical Education of Goa has announced the notification for Goa Common Entrance Test examination (GCET) 2017 to get admission into various Professional Courses like MBBS, BDS, BHMS, B.E., B.Arch & B.Pharm., Allied Health Sciences (BPT, BOT, B.Opt., B.Sc.M.I.T., B.Sc.A.T.) B.Sc in Nursing and Engineering in the State of Goa for the academic year 2017. Every year the examination has been conducted through out the state.
GCET Eligibility Criteria 2017 for Educational Qualifications
Candidates must be citizen of India. Through out India in all states students are eligible for this entrance examination. Coming to the educational qualifications candidates completed and hold the HSSC or equivalent in any recognized university in India with minimum of 55% for reservation category and 60% for general category students are eligible for this examination.
Non-resident Indians holding Indian passport may also apply for seats reserved under NRI category. Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) /Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) cardholders are considered eligible for admissions to seats under NRI Category. Foreign Nationals must apply to Govt. of India
The candidate must have minimum age limit of 17 years old and there is no upper age limit for the applicants.
How to fill the GCET Online Application 2017
Candidate need to download application form from official website and take a copy of print out.The application forms has to be send in offline itself by post to the given address with demand draft slip and along with this three identical photographs as indicated, and other relevant certificates (self attested photo copies), to obtain the Photo-Admit Card, from the Admission Committee.

- In that take a copy of print out for application form.
- Fill the application form with required details.
- pay the application fee in any nationalized bank through demand draft.
- Along with application form send the demand draft form to the following address by post.

Application fee Details
Applicants need to pay 1500 rupees application fee before closing date by demand draft in any nationalized banks. demand draft drawn in favour of “Director of Technical Education” at Panaji - Goa. Those students who are paying after the closing date need to pay 1000 rupees additionally with application fee. Students admitted in NRI category shall pay admission fee (one time) of Rs.1000.
Important Dates (Expected)
The GCET notification 2017 will be released in the month of January. GCET 216 Applications will be available from February on-wards and it will be closes at march. Admit card will be available from march onwards. The entrance examination will be conducted in the month of may and results will be released soon after the examination.
